Evaluation Methodology

How We Score AI Tools

Last updated July 13, 2026

At TheAISelect.com, we don't use automated grading systems or copy scores from other directories. Every tool listed on our platform undergoes an internal audit process based on four key pillars. To break away from generic metrics, we calculate a weighted average based on verified data updated for 2026:

35%

Performance & Technical Precision

We evaluate model stability, response speed, technical error rate, and the quality of the final output (whether it is code, text, image, or data automation) in real production environments.

25%

Value for Money

We analyze the economic viability of the plans. We review the flexibility of the pricing model (Freemium, Pay-as-you-go, Subscription), the usage limits of free accounts, and whether the paid features justify the return on investment (ROI) for a professional or SME.

20%

Interface & User Experience (UX)

The learning curve is key. We rate the cleanliness of the interface, ease of integration via API or webhooks, and the time it takes an average user to master the tool from registration.

20%

Support, Ecosystem & Compliance

We measure the quality of the technical documentation, the frequency of updates in 2026, and critical aspects for businesses in the EU and Latin America, such as Spanish support and compliance with privacy regulations (GDPR).

Our Commitment to Honesty

Some of the tools analyzed contain regulated affiliate links. However, no company can pay to alter its technical score. Positions in our rankings are earned strictly under the criteria described above, ensuring a clean and useful guide for our community.
